x - 3y = 3 or, x = 3y + 3 - - - - - - - (i)
2x + 9y = 11
or, 2(3y + 3) + 9y = 11
or, 6y + 6 + 9y = 11
or, 15y = 11 - 6
or, y = 5/15 = 1/3
Now, x = 3y + 3 = 3 x 1/3 + 3 = 4
So, (x, y) = (4, 1/3).
